Counseling for Healing Bodies
I work with individuals to look at how their whole life contributes to their mental and physical well-being.
I connect to each person where they are, using body-oriented and talk-based approaches. Together, I work with clients to access the wisdom of their body, improve stress-management, increase self-love and self-acceptance and strengthen their relationships.
I support individuals who experience...
Chronic illness (chronic fatigue, crohn's disease, and others)
Pain (rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, and others)
Anxiety, worry, and stress
Depression, grief, and loss
Recent diagnosis (cancer, diabetes and others)
Desire change in their health
Life stage changes (menopause, pregnancy)
... to become more embodied and empowered in their lives.
I work with adults and adolescents. My practice is open and inclusive for those from diverse racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, and facing LGBTQQIAAP-specific issues. Care is provided in a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment.

fees & location
My fee is $125 for a 60 minute session. I am an in-network provider with Regence Blue Cross/Blue Shield, MHN and Aetna insurance plans. I can also provide you with receipts for our sessions which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. You will need to contact your insurance company to check if you are covered for "out-of-network" mental health services.
I have some sliding scale spots available for people who cannot afford my full fee.
My office is located in the Boise-Eliot neighborhood of North Portland on the very popular North Williams Avenue. There is plenty of street parking available although it does fill up depending on the time of day so please arrive a few minutes early for your appointment.
Find me at: 3719 N Williams Avenue
Conveniently located near I-5, on a major bike corridor, and near several major bus lines (4, 44, 6), the office is within a converted house with several steps to reach the front door. Once you are inside, my office is on the ground floor. If this presents any accessibility issues for you, please let me know so we can strategize together about getting you safely and comfortably to your appointments.
